“Ice Cream,” one of the National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing’s (NASCAR) latest spots, features driver Carl Edwards in the role of an engineering teacher in a classroom of students.
The spot is part of the company’s push to try and potentially grow the sports’ younger fan base.
The spot is part of NASCAR’s “Acceleration Nation” program, which aims to “steer” primary school students into greater proficiency within the subjects of science, technology, engineering, and math.
