Snapchat has added a new clause to its terms and conditions, which means that it now owns each photo taken on the app.
The social media platform said that it will also reserve the right to do as it wishes with those images, according to the Telegraph, which means that by sharing your content on Snapchat, you are also granting it permission to use your name, likeness and voice, without restriction, across all media and distribution channels.
Snapchat has previously faced controversy from disgruntled users who were led to believe pictures taken on the app were temporary and not stored.
