Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has responded to a call by US presidential hopeful Donald Trump to bar all Muslims from entering the US by insisting that people practising the religion will always be welcome on his social network.

Zuckerberg has emerged as a champion of social and philanthropic causes in recent years by pledging to use his enormous to fund a range of good causes.
