Matt Groening is rumoured to be in talks with in talks with online streaming service Netflix about producing a new animated series,which would be only his second show since launching the Springfield-based show in 1989.
Industry observers argue that the likelihood of increased creative control over any such Netflix-produced title (as opposed to US TV networks where such liberties are nto always guaranteed) would peak Groening’s interest.
