Facebook is taking further steps to put its house in order by launching legal action against a New Zealand firm and three individuals who reportedly profited from selling fake likes, followers and views on Instagram.
The social media giant accuses the defendants of constructing a network of businesses and websites dedicated to the scam, undermining the credibility of one of Facebook’s core products in the process.
