Qatar encourages tourists to cover up with ‘Reflect Your Respect’ social media campaign

Qatar’s Islamic Culture Centre is urging tourists to respect the country’s Islamic laws with a new social media campaign showing what is and is not appropriate to wear in public.

Suggesting men and women dress “modestly”, the diagrams explain that short dresses, sleeveless clothing and crop tops are banned and men should refrain from wearing shorts or vests that expose their chests.
