French clothing retailer Comptoir des Cotonniers has created over 10,000 virtual boutiques on the streets of Paris, Toulouse and Marseille powered by new retail app PowaTag.
By using the app shoppers scan special tags, which take the form of everything from posters and bus stops to transports, coffee tables, notebooks and tote bags to buy clothing from the retailer at anytime, anywhere in single click. After an initial three-minute set up time, purchases can be completed in a number of seconds, with home delivery within 48 hours.
