Toys R Us takes the Ad of the Day crown today with it’s sweet Yuletide offering.

The retailer’s ‘Exactly what you wish for’ spot centres around a father and son getting ready for the holidays. However, as the young boy rehearses his school play and tops the Christmas tree with a star it becomes clear that something (or someone) is missing.

Ending with a twist, the campaign culminates in an emotional reunion.
