Amazon Prime Music streaming hits UK with a library 30 times smaller than Spotify and Apple Music

Entering a quickly saturating market recently bloated with entries from Apple Music and Tidal, the firm will on top of it’s video, literary and commerce offerings, provide access to a limited library of songs.

As part of the £79 a year Amazon Prime fee, the e-commerce firm boasts a one-million strong music back catalogue, a figure dwarfed by Apple Music and Spotify by a factor of 30.

As an added incentive, Amazon offers up a free one month Prime trial to anyone looking to check out its wares.
