Former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg delivered what the Wall Street Journal called “a stinging rebuke” to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia last night.
The billionaire businessman called Trump a “dangerous demagogue,” adding,“Trump says he wants to run the nation like he runs his business. God help us.”
The ex-mayor is unaffiliated with any political party. “I’m a New Yorker. I know a con when I see one,”he told the packed convention hall.
