Buzzfeed’s European general manager Kate Burns has left the business after spending just a year at the publisher.
It is not known why Burns, who joined Buzzfeed in 2015 following stints at ad tech companies Drawbridge and Shift, left the business but in a statement to Business Insider she said: “The European business is doing exceptionally well thanks to the incredible job my team have done in the last year. I know they will go from strength to strength. I am very sad to leave, and I wish them all the best, and I will miss them very much.”
