Children’s app Alpha Zoo launches to teach children the alphabet

Alpha Zoo, a children’s app which aims to teach the alphabet, has launched following a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Created by three dads working in the ad industry – Gareth Hopkins, Stuart Jackson and Jon Severn – the app allows youngsters to trace upper and lower case letters, with the option of playing each letter with sound to help children understand what noise each letter makes.

When children are successful in tracing a letter, they are rewarded with interaction from the characters, as well as rhymes.
