Complex Tinder catfish hack sees straight males unknowingly flirt with each other

A Californian hacker has fooled heterosexual males into flirting with each other on the site to underline how some guys were treating women on the site.

The Verge first picked up the news that a hacker it called “Patrick” posed as a “better looking version of Kim Kardashian” and tinkered with the Tinder API to ensure that messages sent towards his fake account were relayed among the males sending the messages.

On the move, “Patrick”, who reportedly met his current girlfriend using the app, told the Verge he initiated the stunt to underline how some guys were treating women on the site.
