Cyber Monday surpassed $3bn in total digital sales making it the biggest online shopping day in US history, according to the latest figures from ComScore.
The media measurement and analytics company reported that $3.12bn was spent on the day, marking a 21 per cent increase in total spending compared to last year’s $2.59bn.
Mobile commerce is estimated to have accounted for 27 per cent of total spend on the day with $838m spent via smartphones and tablets.
