Dolce & Gabbana has released a video apology after being slammed for its new “DG Loves China” campaign in China, with critics calling the luxury brand out for triviallising the country’s centuries-old culture and depicting Chinese women in a a perceived racist way.
Stefano Gabbana and co-founder Domenico Dolce in the video ask the people of China to forgive them for their mistake and said that it will never happen again, and that they will try to do better and respect Chinese culture in all respects.
