Ad-funded social network Facebook has reigned in its ads in Thailand as the country mourns King Bhumibol Adulyadej who passed away Thursday (13 October) at the age of 88.
As a result, Facebook’s Thai users will not see ads on the network during the period of national mourning, with similar gestures emerging from other brands as a sign of respect.
