Fairmont Hotels has rolled out a film highlighting the connection it shares with the cinema.
The film created by Swedish agency Tomorrow titled ‘Romance in Silence’ is directed by Brandon Q and inspired by Charlie Chaplin’s stay in the Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai in 1936.
It re-tells the moment when Chaplin meets American actress Paulette Goddard and highlights how, since they weren’t officially married, the had to stay in separate rooms.
