Gary Lineker has apologised for his controversial tweet which was perceived to have made light of the Brussels terrorist attacks.
The BBC Match of the Day presenter came under fire for a joke he tweeted which likened the England national football team’s defensive capabilities to that of the anti-terrorist defence measures taken to secure the Germany vs England game in Berlin last night (26 March).
