Google Labs have teamed up with production company Nomint to introduce a new virtual spelling bee to its Chrome web browser, providing a sophisticated new tool to those seeking to brush up their English skills.
Spell Up takes the form of a simple word game, given a graphical and fun twist by game designers to entice players to give it a bash.
The game invites players to spell words presented to them in order to build a ‘word tower’, with new floors added by correctly pronouncing words, correctly identifying words from jumbled letters and guessing mystery words.
