Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner discussed the possibility of setting up a secret and secure communications channel between Trump’s transition team and the Kremlin, the Washington Post reports today.
The discussion was with Russia’s ambassador in the US , said the Post . The idea was to use Russian diplomatic facilities in an apparent move to shield their pre-inauguration discussions from monitoring, according to U.S. officials briefed on intelligence reports.
The report caused consternation among panelists on CNN’ s Wolf Blitzer show.
