Mobile network EE on Thursday claimed its 4G coverage now covers over 70 per cent of the UK’s population after it recently brought 13 new towns into the fold.
The 4G coverage includes 263 major towns and over 2,500 villages with Buckingham, Burntwood, Chesham, Chesterfield, Dalkeith Glossop, Hertford, Rugeley, Sheerness, Thornaby-on-Tees, Ware and Wickford now accounted for.
EE, which was found to be the UK’s best mobile network provider by analyst group Rootmetrics earlier this month, has 30 million customers worldwide throughout its mobile, fixed and wholesale businesses.
