The newly announced Pebble Time smartwatch has raised a massive $10m on Kickstarter since it was launched on Tuesday (24 February) – reaching over 20 times the $500,000 target.
The wrist-bound wearable boasts a colour e-paper display affording it a battery life of up to seven days, perhaps capable of competing with the Apple Watch which Apple chief executive Tim Cook admitted will require daily charging.
