1. Periscope,Twitter’s answer to Meerkat, is now available to download reports The Verge. The free app allows users to steam live public and private broadcasts with the option to automatically tweet a link to the steam.

2. Uber has unveiled a new code of conduct for its drivers following a bout of controversial incidents that have wracked the ride-hailing service, claims Fortune. The firm has also implemented a safety advisory board.
