T-Mobile is set to implement a new package reflecting a shift from traditional mobile services towards a more data-centric offering.
The mobile carrier (or uncarrier as it describes itself) will launch the Simple Choice Data-Only plan from the 30 March, offering customers a data-only plan with no voice calls, in the US.
Reflecting the fact more people are using video calls on apps like Skype, FaceTime and WhatsApp, T-Mobile offers a package starting at $20 for 2GB monthly.
The plan will also feature unlimited texting for users.
