The future of Top Gear has been cast into doubt after the BBC parted ways with the show’s long time host Jeremy Clarkson today (Wednesday 25 March) following the conclusion of an investigation into his assault of one of the show’s producers.
The BBC addressed speculation Clarkson was to be sacked by confirming it will not be renewing Clarkson’s contract which expires in March.
In response to the news, Sky News interviewed Top gear co-host James May who was reluctant to comment on his future at the BBC but did add that the presenting trio come “as a package”.
