A farewell picture of administrated Toys R Us’ mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe leaving an empty store with a suitcase has gone viral on the internet.

The struggling toy company filed for bankruptcy in September last year due to debt and fierce competition.

As Toys R Us closed down its final 200 store in US for good, people all over the world have taken to social media to express their emotions.
