Corinna Falusi was promoted from executive creative director to chief creative officer of Ogilvy & Mather New York in January of this year.
The Drum chatted with Falusi recently to talk about what her first year as chief creative officer has been like and how it’s different from past roles she’s held. Falusi held creative director positions at StrawberryFrog’s Amsterdam and New York offices before moving over to Ogilvy in 2012.
To be a great chief creative officer, Falusi said it’s sometimes best to “get out of the way” and let people concentrate so their creativity can flourish.
