Havas reports 11.5% growth despite higher staff costs

Havas parent company Vivendi reported its financial results today (July 28). Arnaud de Puyfontaine, chairman of Vivendi’s management board, said that the group had seen “outstanding performance over the entire first half of 2022.” Havas is the second largest unit in Vivendi’s business, after Canal+. ITV digital ad revenue up 20% with record viewers logging onto the Hub

By John McCarthy ITV has said it is performing ahead of expectations after reporting “significant revenue growth” of 8% to £1.68bn in the half year leading up to June 30. Notably, total advertising revenue rose 5%. The UK commercial broadcaster released its financial results on Thursday morning, saying its content, data and technology investments are “already bearing fruit”, as evidenced by its digital ad revenue rising 20%. “Record levels” on the ITV Hub drove this. Half of UK anticipating stressful Christmas shopping amid cost-of-living crisis
