Nando’s crockery inspired by the home of PERi-PERi

Grey was used as a base colour, inspired by the hue of the soil that the PERi-PERi plants grow in. This colour shows the food off beautifully. The new crockery designs include 'wonky' shapes, as well as matte and gloss enamels.

Deisgn agency Sunshinegun looked to Mozambique, the birthplace of Nando’s PERi-PERi flavouring – to design its new crockery range.

Keen to incorporate the colours, architecture and art found in the country’s capital, Maputo, the collection references Mozambique’s rich history and is heavily influenced by both African and Portuguese architectural design and culture.
